Andro Wordpress: Wordpress Blogging Using Android

Abstract

In this project we propose Andro WORPRESS, an application which is used for blogging using Android mobile on the move. WordPress with a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes. Since then it has grown to be the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on millions of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day. Everything you see here, from the documentation to the code itself, was created by and for the community.

WordPress is an Open Source project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it. (More than most commercial platforms.) It also means you are free to use it for anything from your cat’s home page to a Fortune 500 web site without paying anyone a license fee and a number of other important freedoms

Existing System

In the present time open source content management system (CMS) has gained a big market. Lots of varieties are available based on functionality and platform. As no CMS is best for everyone but when content management principles are concerned, two to three CMS names like Joomla, Drupal and WordPress stick in mind. These CMSs perform well in their preferred conditions. But if anyone wants informative types of website and doesn't require much functionality the question arises that out of these three CMSs which is to be preferred. As there are lot of surveys has been carried out in this area, we have tried to prove statistically by comparing their page performance criteria that which CMS is to be preferred. Existing systems

A blog is a collection of commentary posted on the internet. There are all different types of blogs including personal, corporate, political, podcasts, photographic, and more. Blog posts are typically displayed in reverse-chronological order with the latest posts at the top. Many blogs allow readers to comment on the blogger’s post, which can create a sense of community and encourage discussion. WordPress.com lets you easily create your own blog and write about the things that interest you. It is a blogging community managed by makers of the open source WordPress software. WordPress.com blogs are free with the option of adding upgrades such as personalized domain names, custom CSS, video storage, and more.s

ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:

You can send your family and friends a direct link to your blog by copying the blog URL from the web address bar in your browser and sending it to them in an email. Participating in the WordPress.com community by using categories and tags on your posts, commenting on other blogs, and frequenting forums will also help you.s

Modules Description

Create new Blog

In this module, new user has the option to create or Register a new blog in Wordpress. In the Registration process, user required to give their email id and desired username, password and the blog name that is the URL which visitors view their blog. The URL is in the form of http://www.user_blog_name.wordpress.com. After entering these details user will be registered with the wordpress then the verification email will be sent to the given email id. Then user must verify their registration by go to the link provided in the email. After verifying their emai, user has the power to control their blog in their Android device.

Manage Blogs

User also manages the Blogs already created by login into this app with their registered username and password. After login into the system, user can manage their post already posted in the wordpress. They can create new Blog, delete a blog already created and can edit and customize the blog already posted. After successful login user redirected to the Dashboard, in dashboard user can create new posts, blogs and new pages. In dashboard user can view the post and blogs and comments posted by visitors. User can switch the blogs which are created by them in the main screen of this app.

New Post

In this module user can create new posts in their blogs, initially user will get the option to enter the details for the post like Post title, post content, post tags for the search engine optimization and categories in which under the new post will be contains. After successfully entered the details for a new post user has the options to directly publish the blog in online for visitors, save as a draft for later consideration or post as a private post, which is seen only by the author of this post. After user submit the post it will be uploaded to online, and it will take some time and it will run in background service, so user can do anything in their mobile.

Manage Post

User has the power to control the post already posted in online in the Dashboard of this app. User can create new post or delete a post already posted in their blog or edit the post. These all done in the main screen of this app. With the help of dashboard user can directly go through the posts in their blogs and comments.s
