Abstract

Most of the people doing their daily work on computer with the help of online. But nowadays Smart phones gaining more attention over computers, if people want to know about anything their search starts from smart phones, People giving more attention to their health. Teeth is one of the most important body part. Because we daily care about teeth, we brush the teeth at least twice a day, if any disease affect our teeth, we can’t do anything, can’t concentrate to anything and can’t sleep.

So people search the best dental clinic to their nearby places for the treatment, so we developed an Android application called iTeeth, it gives the best dental clinic rated by other user. In this app Administrator enter the clinic available in the particular city or region. The clinic details are Name, address, city, and chief doctor and working hours of the clinic. Admin can manage the clinic details like adding new dental clinic, editing already added clinic and delete the clinic which are closed. User registers with this app and can search through the dental clinics available in a particular city and can view the entire details of that clinic.

Then they can consult with their friends and family about the facilities available in the clinic. In this app user can rate the dental clinics, and also view rating already given to that particular clinic by other user. So this application is very useful for the user to view the details and facilities of the clinics without going outside or contact any other person. In this application we also added some tips for basic dental care. So user can read the tips to maintain their dental health and can also suggest their friends and family.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

There are many dental clinic systems which are available online. But, they are not providing all details at one place. Also many of them restricted to only one city. That means details clinics in online deals only with one and only dental clinic details. Also many of them are not providing effective communication between doctor and the patient. Also present dental clinic systems restricted to only one clinic means details are provided only from one doctor dental clinic show room.

DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:

They limited to only one clinic and limited cities.

No effective communication between patient and the doctor

Products limited to only one dental clinic.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The proposed system is a mobile based system which can be accessed by patient from anywhere around the world. The system can offer number of dental clinics from doctors in different locations. A doctor directly registers into this system using this system user interface without any manual approach. He can pay his amount for advertising his own clinic through submitting the details. The proposed system can accept any type of dental clinic, this system interface support to the doctors to upload their product image into the system. A patient directly interacts with this dental clinic image and gets necessary information regarding the dental clinic. The proposed system accepts ranking from the patients to reserve any dental clinic for own purpose. Administration play vital role here. Administrator can able to communicate the reservation information of any dental clinic to that particular doctor using this system.

MODULES DESCRIPTION:

Administration

In the administration module, the admin of the app can manage the dental clinic details in this app. Admin only can add new clinics, edit the facilities available in a clinic, and delete the clinics which are closed. Admin collect the information from the multiple resources such as viewing advertisement, news paper and by visiting the dental clinic personally and check the facilities available in the clinic and information like name, address and chief doctor of the clinic. Then the Admin enter the details in the application for the user to search and rate.

Clinic Search

Admin enters the details of dental clinic available. A new user must register with this app for search the dental clinics available and rate the clinics. After registering user will get the username and password, using this user can login into this system and search the clinics available in a particular city or region. User also searches the clinics by entering full or part of the address like street name, or city. The system will search the entire database for the clinics in that particular region, and produces the result to the user.

Clinic Rating

User can search the clinics available in a particular city or region, and also user has the power to rate the clinics by their wish according to their expectation of consultation fee and services available in the clinic. It will be useful for other user to decide to go into or ignore the particular clinic; it’s very useful for other users who are searching dental clinic. The ranking is based on the user rating for the particular clinic. When the user search for the clinic more than one flat is returned as a search results, the result is sorted and ranked by the average rating given to each clinic by the user. And based on the average rating the clinics are sorted and returned to the user. The top most is the most viewed and ranked clinic. So user can select and see the flats from top to bottom.

Dental care tips

iTeeth application also providing dental care tips to the user for their daily dental health care. The symptoms and causes are collected by from the resources available across online and also from the famous dental doctors. The tips are then organized with the categories and groups. User can directly read the tips available in the application then follow the tip for their dental health. And also if they felt any dental disease symptoms they can refer the tips and find the medicine and exercise to cure their dental problems.
